Stellar Moon currently has 14 horses in training and looks forward to expanding its clientele of juniors and amateurs. Kirk specializes in the jumper horses and riders, while Jen’s expertise is with hunters and equitation. Whatever type of horse or student they are working with, however, Jen and Kirk share a philosophy. “We both have the idea that a really soft, easy, forward ride is better than the sit down and ‘gun it’ ride,” Jen explains. The pair has attracted several timid, nervous riders and their system, known at Stellar Moon as “the magic ride,” has been working wonders.
