| Featured Programs or Goals |

UPHA Classics
- Classics provide owners and trainers an opportunity to receive substantial prize money. Classes for 3 year olds under, American Saddlebreds and Morgans; classes for 4 year olds and under, Hackney Ponies.

UPHA Challenge Cup
- Our Challenge Cup is one of the most highly regarded equitation classes in the United States.

UPHA Foundation
- The charitable portion of UPHA, supports not only the horse show industry, but other areas of the equine industry as well : scholarships; the funding of equine health research; riding for the handicapped; contributes to the United Cerebral Palsy Fund, the American Saddle Horse Museum, The American Morgan Horse Institute, the American Horse Council, as well as the National 4-H Council's horse programs.

Membership in the Unted Professional Horsemen's Association provides many advantages and privileges. It is much more than the Classics, Challenge Cup, conventions, and awards. Membership helps sponsors industry related charities, scholarships, and youth programs. Members know that they are part of a united voice that is improving the industry while still striving to recognize the unique capabilities and talents of each member. |

Annual Convention
- January
- Each year, the UPHA holds an annual Convention at which ideas and industry concerns are discussed and honors are bestowed on outstand trainers, riders, horses and shows. There are annual awards for Horseperson of the year, horses and ponies of the year, distinguished service awards and an outstanding individual is inducted into the UPHA Hall of Fame.
