The ringmaster relayed he command to line up. Then in order to allow more room half of the horses were sent out to work while the other half remained in the center. The first contingent was put through their paces quite thoroughly. Quite by chance, since there had been no pattern to the division of the class into halves, the cream of the lot worked second. Judy knew that unless she turned in a superlative showing it was all over, and she rode for everything in her.
