Stated Purpose of Association-Club:
The Illinois Walking Horse Association was started in a barn in Springfield, IL by a group of horsemen dedicated to the promotion of the Tennessee Walking Horse.MissionOur Association is a Non-Profit Organization and supports the Shriners Children's Hospital and provides college scholarship to members of the association. We are a family oriented association with fellowship and sportsmanship a top priority.Since 1999 IWHA has supported the Shriners Hospital for Children. To date IWHA has given $27,500 to this great organization. IWHA has also give out $17,000 in college scholarship money to its membership. www.iwha.biz
